Here's something for anyone who has been trying to get a look at Seth Klarman's now famous, and out of print, 1991 investment book, Margin of Safety.
Value Stock Plus has linked to a scanned copy of the book on its Seth Klarman page. You can also download a scanned PDF copy of the book here. (update: new direct download link). Now you'll have your own e-copy of this recent investment classic for handy reference.
My knowledge of value investing is pretty much limited to what I've read in Ben Graham's The Intelligent Investor (the book which originally popularized the investment concept of a "Margin of Safety") and other investors' blogs, so you might want to check out our earlier post on Margin for more background.
There you will find a link to another reader's notes on the book, as well as a BusinessWeek article that describes the buzz surrounding Klarman's hard-to-find (and increasingly expensive) book.
Enjoy the book, and check out some more wisdom from Seth Klarman and friends in our related posts below.

Try using Scribd -- its a more effective distributor than those other sites:

Yes, I actually posted your link to Greenspan's book on another blog a couple weeks ago.
I've found some interesting stuff on Scribd as well. They also had a scanned copy of Jesse Livermore's 1940 edition of How to Trade in Stocks, a book we posted on not too long ago. Wonderful stuff.
This is gone now. Any chance you could email it to me? Thanks.

Seth Klarman a guru?
Klarman and Baupost Group are backing a project in Canada right now, that is environmentally destructive. They forced farmers out of their homes and have a big fight on their hands.
Probably will spent most of Baupost's money on legal fees and a massive battle with the local community.
What kind of a guru does not have the foresight to anticipate this?

Is it possible to send me a copy as well?

Appreciate that, thsanks! It's live from ther link in the article currently at Oct 27 2012. Remember the author makes no money from second-hand sales on ebay or amazon either. I wionder it hasn't gone to a reprint with all the fuss and acclaim?
