Here's something for anyone who has been trying to get a look at Seth Klarman's now famous, and out of print, 1991 investment book, Margin of Safety.
Value Stock Plus has linked to a scanned copy of the book on its Seth Klarman page. You can also download a scanned PDF copy of the book here. (update: link removed due to Google DMCA copyright takedown). Now you'll have your own e-copy of this recent investment classic for handy reference.
My knowledge of value investing is pretty much limited to what I've read in Ben Graham's The Intelligent Investor (the book which originally popularized the investment concept of a "Margin of Safety") and other investors' blogs, so you might want to check out our previous Margin post for more background.
There you will find a link to another reader's Margin of Safety book notes, as well as a BusinessWeek article that describes the buzz surrounding Klarman's hard-to-find (and increasingly expensive) book.
Enjoy the book, and check out some more wisdom from Seth Klarman and friends in our related posts below.
